Musical Differences is our debut collection of original cross-genre songs, co-written and produced by the band members, Neil, Mark and Nigel with the occasional local guest musician of the day. All three of us are old enough to remember the original progressive rock and blues bands of the 70s which makes largely influences our style. There’s a good splattering of humour too – we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we just love playing and making original music in our sleepy village. This album explores the darker side of mental health, why people sometimes fall out or lose their way, but also includes some hopeful sounds of recovery too (as in the triumphant ‘Up from the Depths’) and a reflective realisation at the end with ‘Still the Best’.
